ShelfSync is for retail chains with many shops and a few central warehouses. Shops sell all day on Odoo Point of Sale, order what they need at night with a few taps (soon pre-filled from the day's sales), and confirm what arrived in the morning. In between, Odoo checks every figure and corrects every warehouse and shop in the background. Nobody touches a stock transfer.
Tonight's order is pre-filled from today's till sales. The shop only confirms or adjusts.

Follow one product from the till back to the shelf
Branch 4 sells 11 cartons on its till during the day. At night ShelfSync suggests ordering 11; the shop trims it to 10 from Warehouse A. The picker finds them in Warehouse C instead, and loads one carton fewer than he records. Step through and watch the stock in each place. Switch the problems off to compare.
